Tridens, one of the oldest trading companies in Estonia, has established in 1988. The company has reached and secured itself as a leading position among the local importers and wholesalers. By now, Tridens has become an international enterprise. In 2007, the company expanded to Latvia and Lithuania.
Commenting on the development of the company, Juho Ojasoo says that when the firm started its activities in 1988, it set its sights on becoming a market leader in Estonia. “Our mission is to provide our customers only with high-quality goods and our goal is to be the market leader on all markets where we operate - currently in Estonia, but soon also in Latvia and Lithuania. We started in 1988 as a trading co-operative under Torgmortrans. Right after independent entrepreneurship became a legal option, we registered ourselves as a public limited company. Times have been better and worse for us, but it has only made us stronger. Today, the group employs a vigorous team of 360 employees.”
In the spring of 2008, the headquarters of Tridens were moved from the harbour of Muuga to Ülemiste City in Tallinn. “We moved closer to our clients as well as to the homes of our workers. The new premises are more modern and they suit our everyday activities better. Besides offices, we now have spacious warehouses as well as premises suitable for product presentations and smaller conferences at our hand,” Juho Ojasoo says.
